TOURIST GUIDE: La Rambla

Torreón:

Over here we have a tower called Torreón. It looks like a simple place, in fact "Torreon" has not nothing special. However, inside the tower, there are keeping the best pieces of the local ceramic competition.

Jardín de Andalucía:

The bigest garden of La Rambla is the Jardín de Andalucía. It has got a heap of differents kinds of trees or flowers. In addition, there ir a little pool in the centre of the garden. 

Nuestra Señora de la Asunción:

Nuestra Señora de la Asunción is a church wich it has got a medieval origin. Among the catholic churhs from La Rambla, it is the most important. Futhermore, a lot of baptisms or weddings are celebreted here.

Local Swimming Pool:

La Rambla has got some activities for the free time too. In summer, you can enjoy our fantastic swimming pool. It has got 25 meters long and it is cleaned with salt.

El Paseo:

In the centre of city, you can find a amazing square called El Paseo. You can walk through it or enjoy with his coffe shops. Check out.

Los Autos Locos:

Probably, this activity is the most famous of La Rambla. Once a year, the citizen of the town, make a homenade cars called autos locos. This cars are bassed on films or topical issues.

Them, from the higest place of the town, they start to come down. Finally, the awards are departed: award for the funniest, award for the most original, etc.

Pottery:

Of course, you musn't miss the local pottery. La Rambla is known like a ceramic town. You can find a lot of interesting pieces of pottery here. What's more, are usually celebrated different pottery tournaments wich you can see the winner pieces.

The Life of Pi have won a heap of awards. Besides, masses of this was Oscars: the best director, the best soundtrack and the best visual effects. Moreover, it won the awards of Art Director Guild, the WGA awards or the awards of American Film Institute.


Actors:

Suraj Sharma: He is young Pi in the film. Suraj hadn't got any relation with the cinema, so Pi was his first character.











Irfan Khan: He gives life to adult Pi in the film. Irfan is a famous indian film actor and also he have interpreted a sack of characters. Futhermore, he have participed in a lot of indian programs on TV. He have worked in films like The Namesake, New York, I Love You, A Mighty Heart, Slumdog Millionaire, The Amazing Spider-Man, and Life of Pi.






Rafe Spall: this English actor is the writer in Life of Pi. He wasn't a good student, so he started his career without nothig. He is known for his roles in The Shadow Line, Pete versus Life, One Day, Anonymous, and Prometheus.








Gérard Depardieu: He only interprets to chef of the transatlantic ship. Gerard is a film-maker businessman and vineyard owner. His most works are: Cyrano de bergerac, The Last Metro, Police and Green Card.







Sipnosis:

The film starts when, a writer, visits to Pi. He want to listen a good story for write a book, and Pi have got wich he is finding.
Them Pi starts to talk about his story. Fristly, he talk about his childhood. Pi lived in an Indian zoo with their parents and his brother. Besides, he was an unusual boy. Futhermore, he was very inteligent and also he was interested in religions.
One day, Pi, his family and the animals, have to travel to America by ship. There is a terrible storm and the ship sinks. Pi is the only survivor with a tiger, called Peter Parker. Alone, after lose his family, he has to learn how survive in the middle Pacific Ocean with his wild partner.
It going to be an amazing adventure for Pi and Peter Parker, with a masses of emotions and incredible experiences.

Opinion:


If you ask me about this film, i only say to you that it is a master piece. I love it this production, the soundtrack, the visual effects, the character, the plot... everything in this film is expectacular.
It has got a heap of experiences of life: the romance of chilhood of Pi, the religions that Pi believes, the decision of Pi of believe... I think that i couldn't find mistakes in this film
My fovourite secenes is when Pi, weeks later of the accident, breaks down during a storm. He shouts to God "I give up! i lose my family, i lose everything!". Then, he finds an island. Here, he want to turn back home again, because he doesn't want to die alone in the middle of the ocean.
In conclusion, i recomend this film and i wish that a sack of people see it.
